Who is Roxanna?
I have learned that in life, "what you give, is what you get, so give it ALL you've got!" and that "borders like obstacles, prejudice and wars are built first and foremost in one's own mind"
What Has Becoming
'Independent' Done for Me?
'Independent' Done for Me?
What has becoming independent done for me? It has taught me an awful lot, it's giving me work, and as a woman and a performer, a wonderful feeling of freedom and personal fulfillment, in becoming little by little the mistress of my own destiny. It has given me 'the gift' of many challenges, satisfactions, growing pains as well as a greater understanding, that within all of us, there is a creator, a light burning inside, that illuminates our path, guiding us into making our goals attainable and our dreams a reality. Hopefully by taking action, we can inspire others to do the same and follow through.
That a day filled with complaints and regrets, is a day wasted, a valuable peace of our existance thrown 'over board' from this ship we call 'LIFE'. Whether we like it or not, we are all, passengers with the same 'destination', even though we might get off at 'different ports'. Let's keep in mind, that as far as we know on this 'voyage', we all have but a 'one way' ticket. That we cannot allow anyone to stop our creative flow; choose what we can and cannot do; tell us if what we want is 'attainable' or 'not'; or simply decide for us who we are, and what is our worth as people.
Talent, will, capacity and creativity are not limited to a selected few. They don't come with 'good looks', 'social status', or if we 'were able to afford' to go to school or not. Success does not come to the ones who can; but to those 'who believe' they can! Inspiration and ability do not discriminate as we humans often do, because they are part of us all. They 'wake up' within us, no matter whether our skin is 'dark' or 'light'; 'where', or 'how' we were born; what 'age' we are; who is our 'family'; what is our 'culture'; the 'language' we speak; the 'clothes' we wear or the 'foods' we eat; whether we are 'female' or 'male'; 'gay' or 'straight', 'economically', 'mentally' or 'physically' challenged, as well as 'wealthy'. It does not matter the religion we profess, or the name we give to 'The Spiritual Guide' we believe in, and have grown to know, love, respect and venerate as 'Our All Knowing Merciful One'.
We all form part of a 'unique race', 'The Human Race'.
We are equal, but fortunately not the same, just beautifully and sufficiently different from one another, to be attractive and interesting to each other.
If our goals are not exclusively for self service, created only to satisfy an unrestrained greed, but: 1.) They go hand in hand with passion for our chosen field of work; 2.) Love and compassion for ourselves, our families and all people; 3.) With a burning desire to be productive and of service for the common good, and 4.) A firm purpose to always be working towards making our world a better place for everyone to live in. We'll wake up every day energized, alive, excited and wanting to continue learning, giving, sharing. We'll not only keep on growing, but it will help us, and our loved ones to thrive; our children and their children to 'blossom', grow up compassionate, independent, mentally and morally self sufficient, productive, and strong! They will become true assets to themselves and 'society. At the end, it will help all of us beyond anything we can imagined, to be joyfully fulfilled and immensely 'rich as spiritual beings'.
Not attaining our immediate goal (s) right away may happen, but should not discourage us! Most of the fun and true growth is in the 'hunt', the 'chase', the pursuit of it! Let's face it, we are all born 'free spiritual beings', however 'trapped' in our 'human-animal-nature'. Humanly we are basically 'reasonable animals', unfortunately 'truly reasonable' only some of time! So we 'hunt', not only for freedom, love, dreams, happiness, joy, power, spiritual and worldly pleasures, but sometimes in our pursuit for 'survival', we also commit 'unthinkable destructive acts'.
I have learned that in life 'what we give, is what we get, so let's give it all we've got'!
"A generous, kind, loving, productive soul is priceless, unmeasurably beautiful and eternally wealthy!"
